We want to express our love and gratitude for and to the most beloved friends we have ever had, Josie and Guy Roche. Our families have been separated for over 20 years, so our reflections come from the early years of Josie’s life.
The first thing we think of when we reflect back on her is joy, happiness, fun and lot of laughs. Regardless of what was going on in her life, it was always a pleasure to be around her. One could truthfully say, she had the gift of lifting another’s spirit.
Josie was a wonderful hostess and excellent cook. We remember many delicious dinners at her home that usually included chocolate or some delicious dessert.
Josie’s faith, was kindled by what she saw, heard and most importantly, felt. It was her enthusiasm and honesty, along with Guy’s persistence and of course their unprecedented friendship that led us to the Gospel truth and baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Until we meet gain, farewell to the one of the best, Josie Roche.
